We have completed low-rise structures of up to 8 storeys internationally. These designs typically employ mixed reinforced concrete superstructures — including columns, slabs and shear walls — with foundation solutions that vary by site, ranging from concrete slabs-on-ground, strip and pad footings, through to piling systems.
For this project, we delivered the structural design for a mixed-use commercial and residential building in a seismically active region. The structure incorporates a hybrid system of load-bearing shear walls and reinforced concrete portal frames, complemented by concrete floor slabs that provide bracing and structural integrity.
The result is enhanced performance and resilience in a high seismic zone.
