Hornsby, NSW — structural inspection and modification design for a home reconfiguration.
We provided structural inspection and modification design services for a residential property, assessing the client's proposed interior reconfigurations across two primary tasks.
The first involved the removal of internal load-bearing walls adjacent to the kitchen at ground floor level. The second was a feasibility study into enlarging an opening in the secondary façade — removing the wall section between an existing window and door to create a single 5.00 m-wide opening.
Our assessment centred on structural viability, safety and compliance with the relevant standards, addressing the walls along grid lines C/2–3 and C/3–4 at ground floor level, to support the client's renovation objectives.
We have delivered numerous structural inspections and modification designs for residential and commercial buildings up to two storeys.
