Bronte, NSW — opening up a townhouse with a concrete suspended slab.
An internal alterations project for a townhouse in Bronte, opening up the ground floor into bright, contemporary open-plan living.
We provided the structural design to remove the existing walls and carry the loads above, installing a steel beam over the new opening and forming a concrete suspended slab as part of the reconfiguration. The works were carried out with temporary propping while the new structure was installed.
The finished result is a seamless open-plan kitchen and living area — all the structural work neatly concealed in the ceiling and floor.
Wall removals, steel beams, suspended slabs and certificates — handled by the engineer directly.
